Tahoe was fun, but I got laid up this year with a sprained ankle only a day and half into the trip!!!  I spent many hours in the condo reading, watching the Discovery Channel, playing Bubble Break on my treo, and watching my nephew learn to crawl!

He's 7 months now and on the go!

Pictures from Disney Half Marathon Weekend

Our awesome resort - Disney's Pop Century Resort!  The classic's through to the 1990's!  Where else can you find 2story tall rendering's of your birth era....

That's right, Joyce, you'll always be older than us!

After arriving and taking the Magical Express to the resort, we headed to the Health and Fitness Expo at Disney's Wide World of Sports to register for the Half Marathon

We picked up our race numbers, goodie bags, and had some fun with the running mannequins...

Then we went to Downtown Disney for dinner and LEGOWORLD!!!

It's Lego HK and NY!!

Finally, it's race time!  Saturday, Jan. 6th, 2007...6:00am (although Joyce and I had to get up at 3am to be at the "staging" area prior to the race !!!)

3hrs and 13mins later....here I am a half marathon finisher!!!

Sooooo much thanks to Foo, Ang and Shaw for coming down to support me and Joyce!  (there are no pictures of me and Joyce finishing together because Joyce finished looooooong before me and made the smart decision to go back to the hotel first and shower and SLEEP.  Go Joyce!)

After a much needed nap, Joyce and I met up with the rest of them at the park.

 Status:  Recovering from the holidays...literally

Holidays at home in HK was awesome!  I loved seeing everyone - friends and family.  Taiwan was also sooooo yummy, er, I mean fun!   (pics to come)

Disney was also amazing!  1) Finished my first half marathon!  Can't wait for the next one!  Thanks, Joyce, for being such a good person to train with! 2) Celebrated Ang's 25th birthday at the Magic Kingdom!  Happy Birthday, Girl!

Now if I could only stop being sick!

Going back to HK for family Christmas this year. 

Can't wait.
